It might not look like much to the normal viewer, but this is a big achievement for #teamcradlegenetics as we ran a few winter test germinations to get a better strain review for our clients.

These babies survived the harsh winter with little to no water, frost and extreme cold conditions (below -3°C).

The field trial using our award winning genealogies gave us plenty data in terms of germination ratio success, hardening degrees, nutrient needs, limitations in germination and ability to veg with minimal inputs.

This particular strain is listed on our website (#fibror) and has shown extreme resilience as a native EU Registered specie grown in SA. She can grow up to 3.5m in height and shows great vigor throughout. Bring on summer, we going at it. We'll keep you updated.

This little one showing signs of two to possibly 3 merged mutations - one is clearly the 'Self Top', plus signs of 'Vertical Phyllotaxy'. The new 3rd node is also displaying 'Vine' traits, but too early to tell.

Planted from seed in a huntout done for #rnd - literally one of 50 odd beans displaying these traits.

Most probably a cull, but interesting none the less....lets keep observing.
