HOW TO RE-HYDRATE YOUR BOVEDA™ 2-WAY HUMIDITY PACKS

  • by

You would probably think we’ve lost our marbles, but what if we told you that you can re-hydrate your Boveda™ 2-way Humidity packs using a very simple DIY method – right in the comfort of your own Kitchen. The Grim Reefa Shows us how.

RE-HYDRATING YOUR 2-WAY HUMIDITY PACKS

There’s no need to replace your dried up Boveda packs (when it goes dry like a wafer cake/biscuit) . Only when compromised (broken packet, weakened packaging etc), I’ll properly dispose of them. Reuse as much as possible, it’s our responsibility too!

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Water Boiler/Water Kettle
  • Jar or alike with Lid
  • Smaller bowl to fit inside larger seal-able jar
  • Old Dried up packs of Boveda™

DIY METHOD:

Pour boiling/steaming hot water into smaller bowl inside your larger container. Be careful, as hot water is dangerous!

Add your Boveda™ Packs around the bowl, making sure they won’t get submerged in the condensation build-up as the steam cools. To be safe, one can place a small kitchen towel or alike to absorb the excess moisture.

Close the  lid to ensure no steam escapes the container and let it do it’s magic! It usually requires a few (up to 5 sometimes) repeats/refills of hot water to achieve optimal re-hydration.

You’ll thank us for this AMAZING tip, as it’s tried and tested via all Cradle Genetics Members!

Stay safe, keep growing and respect the plant!
